Douglas Murphy is a writer and architect.
He is the author of the books ‘Last Futures’ and ‘The Architecture of Failure’.
He studied at the Glasgow School of Art and the Royal College of Art, and is currently ‘architecture correspondent’ at Icon magazine, as well as writing for a wide range of publications on architecture, fine art and photography.
He has taught and lectured at Oxford University, UCL, The Royal College of Art, The Architectural Association, ETH Zurich, Historical Materialism Conference, The London Art Fair and London Design Festival among others, and has appeared on BBC Radio and Frieze TV.
