Design Interactions Lecture Series

Architecture and building is deeply entwined with three of the biggest crises currently facing the human world – environmental collapse, housing and migration, and labour automation. Current responses are frequently despairing, but 50 years ago the same problems were in full view, and attitudes were very different. What can be learned from how those in a less technically sophisticated but more politically ambitious time approached such potentially apocalyptic change?
